The M5 Project is a collaborative effort involving the following not-for-profit organisations and Government departments who all share a passion for the wellbeing of men.

Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) – The RACGP’s mission is to improve the health and well being of individuals, families and communities across Australia by supporting GPs in their pursuit of clinical excellence and ensuring high quality education, training, continuing professional development and research for general practice. The RACGP works to improve the standards of health care for all Australian – especially groups of people with special health care needs. www.racgp.org.au

Department of Health and Ageing – The Department seeks to promote, develop, and fund health and aged care services for the Australian public. www.health.gov.au

Department of Veterans Affairs – Responsible for carrying out Government policy and implementing programs to fulfill Australia’s obligations to war veterans and their dependants. www.dva.gov.au

Heart Foundation – The Heart Foundation is dedicated to reducing the dreadful effects of the number of people living with, or dying from heart, stroke and blood vessel disease. www.heartfoundation.org.au

Stroke Foundation – The National Stroke Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that works with the public, government, health professionals, patients, carers and stroke survivors to reduce the impact of stroke on the Australian community. www.strokefoundation.com.au

Foundation 49 – Foundation 49 is a direct response to the health crisis affecting 49% of the population – and is dedicated to improving the health status of all men.  Its vision is ‘to reduce the number of men dying from preventable conditions through raising health awareness and encouraging regular check-ups’.www.49.com.au

Andrology Australia – Andrology Australia (The Australian Centre of Excellence in Male Reproductive Health) undertakes a program of activities that enhances the reproductive health of males, including community and professional education strategies and support of national research programs. www.andrologyaustralia.org

beyondblue – beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related substance misuse disorders in Australia. www.beyondblue.org.au
